Gala Dinner

The Congress Gala Dinner will be held on Day 2, 20th Dec 2017, 7 – 10 pm at the NUSS Kent Ridge Guild House. In addition to a delicious buffet, the prize presentation for award winners, traditional presentation by foreign delegations, games and Congress closing ceremony will also take place during the dinner. We strongly encourage all participants to come for the dinner to unwind, have a good time, and build relationships, especially with friends from other countries.

The Gala Dinner is free for invited participants but please be sure to indicate your attendance in advance through your official liaison. Walk-in registrants will be charged a nominal amount (see Registration); this is highly subsidised to encourage registrants to attend the dinner. Walk-in registrants who wish to attend the dinner should indicate their attendance in the Registration Form. Transport will be provided from the Congress venue (UTown) to the dinner venue and back again.

Heritage Tour

The Congress secretariat is happy to announce that we have organised a Heritage Tour for all participants of BSGC2017. The tour will take place on 21st Dec 2017, 9 am – 1 pm and will take participants to 2 locations: the newly established Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (LKCNHM) featuring 2-storey dinosaur skeletons; and the World Heritage Singapore Botanic Gardens’ Learning Forest which features an 8 m-high elevated boardwalk in the SPH Walk of Giants.

The tour is free for invited participants but please be sure to indicate your attendance in advance through your official liaison. Walk-in registrants will only be charged to cover the entrance and guide fees (see Registration); these are subsidised rates specially for BSCG2017 participants. Walk-in registrants who wish to attend the dinner should indicate their attendance in the Registration Form. Transport will be provided from the Congress venue (UTown) to the tour locations and back again. Breakfast and Lunch will NOT be provided during the tour.
